The Auction Process
Each facility will have a sign in sheet and or registration forms in the office, you must sign in at each facility.
The auctioneer will make various announcements regarding the terms & conditions, schedule changes, sales tax, ect.
The door to the unit is opened, everybody is given a chance to view the unit from the door threshold only. Do not go in the unit or touch anything in the unit please.
When viewing is done we conduct a live auction, you are bidding on the entire contents of the unit. The highest bidder is awarded the unit and places their lock on the unit.
Proceed to the next unit, we may open more than one unit at a time to speed up the process.
At the end of the sale successful buyers go immediately to the office to pay for their unit.
Some facilities may charge a $20.00-$50.00 refundable deposit that will be refunded after the unit is cleaned out.
Proceed to the next facility, or stay to clean out your unit.
Vehicles, motorcycles,trailers, boats ect will be sold with a “declaration of sale” form to take to dmv or azg&fd for titles and registrations
Auction Terms and Conditions
payment must be in cash only immediately after the sale. No credit/debit cards, money orders, travelers checks, or running to the bank. Cash only! That is the state law.
Untis must be totally cleaned out in the time specified by the manager at the time of the sale, usually 24 hours. Managers will usually work with you for large or multiple units.
the facility dumpster may not be used ever.
You must put your own lock on your unit.
Return all personal items such as photo albums, tax records, and legal papers ect. To the manager.
No firearms allowed on the property
No smoking allowed on any of the properties
You will pay sales tax if you do not have a sales/privilege tax license.
All auctions are conducted “as is where is,” without warranties or guarantees of any kind. All sales are final.
Auctioneers announcements and decisions the day of sale are final
Non compliance with the above may result in the buyer being banned from our auctions
Bring a good flashlight
Bring your own lock
Bring a copy of your sales tax license if you have one.
Do not bring small children
Have the ability to move the contents within 24 hours.
Get the auctioneers attention early if you are interested in bidding on a unit. If you have questions ask the auctioneer.
If you are new to the business attend a few auctions first to see if it works for you.
Buy units that have contents you know about, (i.e.)electronics, toys, automotive, tools, furniture etc.
Look for pride of ownership.
